Here we have for sale my 1988 Honda H100SII
The H100 was the two stroke version of the CB100, marketed as a small commuter bike it was a common machine for learners in the 1980's and early 90's. Being an SII model, my bike is one of the later models that benefited from upgraded CDI ignition and a twin spar down tube to make it look more like a cradle frame.
The bike is in excellent original condition. All the body panels and tank are in original paint in very good condition. The exhaust, mudguards (a common rust point) and chain guard are the original fitted items, as are the wheels, all with the chrome still intact and nice and shiny. The 99cc air cooled single never misses a beat and runs superbly. It has that lovely two stroke crackle that is very addictive! It had a new piston fitted around a 1000 miles ago so should be good for many more. The bike still has the correct tool kit with all the tools, and has the original key too (as well as some spares) All the switch gear and electrics work spot on as they should.
Currently the bike has 9525 miles on the clock, so not a lot considering its nearly 30 years old. It has obviously been looked after by its previous owners. The bike has been dry stored the entire time I've owned it and judging by the condition it has been for all of its life. There's loads of paper work with the bike, old Tax discs, MOT's, service bills, all the hand books and the original owners card from Honda when the bike was bought.
The market for all two strokes has been going upwards recently, and this would be a great usable entry into it. When I've had the bike at shows and meets it gets more looks and comments than any CBR or R1! The bike has MOT til October 2016, and passed with no advisorys last time.
Genuine reason for sale, if I had space I'd definitely be hanging onto it. Would be a cracking first bike (Learner Legal) for someone into older machines, better than a Chingyang RS125BR....
I'm after around £1400 for the bike, which i feel is a reasonable price compared to similar category bikes in similar condition. However obviously i'll listen to all offers
Bike is located in Darwen, Lancashire (BB3)
