I think it's people like you who give the custom scene a bad name. And in a couple of years when the Hipster scene fizzles itself out, a load of classic bikes will be destroyed due to this 'brat' nonsense.

Why are you being so awkward with your answers about the bike you're trying to sell? Confused

If I come to look at the bike would you be more forthcoming with useful details about the bike?

It probably won't fail on the rear tyre being furthest back. Plenty of bikes are similar, although not as extreme. Panigale for example with a decent hanger will mean the rear is well out there.

OP is getting more vague with each post, and harder to understand.... Dude, did you build this thing to sell it, or have you just bought it to flip? You can't rip apart a bike, nail some bits on, charge a premium, and not even put a ticket on it!
And secret roads? If it's got tarmac on it, it isn't a secret. If I had a team of sexy cheerleaders they'd be all like...

Gimme a B
Gimme a U
Gimme a L
Gimme a L
....................

No, this is silly. It's bullshit. That's what it is!

Interestingly there is a member in the Workshop who wants to build a cafe/brat/scrambler RXS100 who also has 1978 in their username... Multiple accounts maybe?

https://www.bikechatforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=313083

Ultraculture1978, Streetmoto78, both vaguely 'brat' user names, both building Hipster bikes, both dont have great English...

Last post from me:

I tired of wasting my time explaining myself to lamers.

I bought this bike as a non runner stood outside for 8-9 years.

https://media.snimka.bg/s1/5387/037018585.jpg?r=0

The bike was stripped, cleaned, engine refurbished, powder coated, professionally painted and baked ect.

A lot of parts have been modified and hand build from scratch.

For those who appreciate the work and the cafe racer spirit thanks for the kind words...to all others good luck and go cool off...cafe racers rule.

CA$H in hand, for more info about the work done on the bike.

Cheers all!

I think you are perhaps mixing up the 'cafe racer' spirit with the 'profiteering hipster' spirit?

That would perhaps explain the issues here.

The original idea of Cafe Racers was to get the best performing bike for the money that you could so that they could be ridden as fast as possible.

Your ideas seem to be about getting an aesthetic at the cost of performance because it's ridden gently at best.

Oh; and it seems a bit of hiding the truth about the reality of the bike.

Well, I suppose you do have to aim for a certain, ah, 'stupid' target audience!

Still waiting to hear a laptime and some tips?

Won't everybody just stop fighting!?!?!

Seriously though, didn't it weird anyone else out that the big posts contained legible English language, but the short stuff was "me love cafe good you buy" ? Maybe I'm spending too much time on here.

I'm still upset that GS was killed though. I guess everything becomes 'scene' eventually, and there are always old timers left behind to remember when it was 'really' cool. Still, the hipster thing does piss me off for some reason...

Upgraded front end - sensible.
Bit of a mismatch with the rear could lead to some odd handling.
Have you since got and ridden a 'big bike' for any period?

I'm often amused that the view of being a 'biker' that many see involves spending a lot of time and money... not actually riding bikes.

One of the reasons I don't label myself as such!

The facebook link in the first post is for some Bulgarian shop called "Стрийтмото". https://www.facebook.com/%D0%A1%D1%82%D1%80%D0%B8%D0%B9%D1%82%D0%BC%D0%BE%D1%82%D0%BE-171504047680/?pnref=lhcsoon!

And that facebook page links to some Dutch cruiser shop with assless leather chaps. https://streetmoto.net/store/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=33

Thumbs Up
