1978 Romet 49cc

Its going to be a winter project, paintwork isnt as good as it looks the preparation seems very good but putting the paint on well defeated the previous owner, a few other little jobs and i'll have a nice little oddity for next summer.

It has very old world basic engineering, obviously built down to a very low price by eastern bloc workers back in the 70's

Are you SURE the paint isn't original? I've seen MZs that colour.

That said, my old Russian bike was enamelled.

Thats the original colour but the previous owner resprayed it (badly)

I Like that mate. what does it run like. I have got a romet pony. smaller frame. smaller wheels. 3 gears with clutch. not as good condition as yours.
