Looking at that lot of machinery, I may need to buy a faster bike Laughing although the panniers on the ER6 would finally
be of some use.

If Helen's ER6 hadn't used a coil pack and spark plug as a V2 rocket, she would've been on that. As it was, the legend that is Mr Pigeon, lent her his SV. We always ensure we don't leave anyone behind, but that doesn't stop tom foolery between junctions!

I still can't thank the Pidge enough for the loan of the SV, a real eye opener for future bikes. Very different from the ER6.

Should be fine on an ER6 Thumbs Up. Fladdem was on his CB400 and managed to stay with everyone for the trip.

Ahh, thanks Helen, thanks again for paying for my karting. Not necessary, but very much appreciated, thank you.

Sorry the bike wasn't behaving, but it made it there and back at least.

I would like to take this opportunity to point out that 4 of us are from the South West, and do not like to be affiliated with the likes of the South East scum.

If people want to come along on trips they are welcome. We put meets like Ace bike nights, Rykas or Loomies on a weekend and other rideouts/events to places like Brighton and Hastings in the SE or National section.

Nobody ever turns up except the same faces.

We organised this as a group of mates who meet up and ride together regularly. It didn't get put out there to the wider forum because we've had issues in the past and numbers were at around 15 already. That is a big group to keep together and a drama for fuel stops and finding parking. More than that becomes a headache.

This is due to the fact that we in the SE are not restricted to our cousins Wink

My only real addition to the thread can be that it was fucking awesome and thanks too all the people that arranged it. Finding a hotel next to a KFC must have been hard, but I appreciated it.
