Can't wait to go to meet up's. Currently living SE of Cambridge for the next month but moving to Loughborough on 1st October.

Just took her out for an hour spin before the sun was dissapearing. I was scared to start with but then realised that it weights just as much as my old NSR (close) and if you want it to, it can drive just like the old NSR by sticking it in 4th and keeping below 4k revs.

Took it out around the local area - Saffron Walden - Linton - Cambridge - Sawston and back again, it was a shame about all the traffic tho. I met a guy on a Triumph daytona on my travels around linton, he had a big union jack on the front of the bike.. It was a teriffic looking bike.

The gears on the CBR just go on and on forever, spent most of the time below 6k revs winding around the roads in 5th. I only had one chance to get it up to 15k rpm comming on to the A11 on the slip road and before I knew it I was doing 120 and slowed back to 70 and stayed there for the rest of the trip.

Boy does my bumb hurt... guess if i was out of the saddle it wouldnt hurt soo much.

WORTH EVERY PENNY Cool

// polish polish polish, spit spit.... polish polish!

Thanks Claud

It's a 2003 CBR600RR3, I got it for what I got it for Wink

Not sure I want to ride it much this winter, probably will take it to Loughborough but keep it locked up in Towers. There is alot more bike theft up there and I don't particularily want it stolen.

Hehe yeah true.

So is it going to be locked up in a garage at Uni? How much does that cost to rent?

There should be a fair few dry/nice days in the winter that you can utilise. Wink

Very nice bike mate. I have to say that the 600RR was the best bike that I have ever owned/ridden.

I advise that you get a tank pad (if it hasn't already got one), and consider some of that clear protective film for the sides of the tank...unless you're a bit handy with the T-Cut.

yeah, it's allready started to show a bit of wear marks on the sides of the tank - will be getting some clear sheets on 18th at the next BMF in Peterborough.
