Finally got round to taking a few pics of my bike.

https://www.bikepics.com/members/surreyr1/

Sorry about the photos i'm absolutly gash cameras!
What do you guys think? I've had a few people saying they don't like the look of the exhaust, i personally do but i'd like to hear what other people think!

Mods so far:
Rear indicators integrated into the rear led brakelight
MCM Mirage exhaust
Small plate

Upcoming mods:
Power commander (bike has a flatspot at ~3k due to emissions stuff)
Steering damper

How much has that plate cost you so far out of interest?

People don't like the look of the exhaust? What exhaust I don't see one! Thinking

So far haven't been pulled, but i know i'm going to get a fine sometime. The exhaust sticks out of the fairing a few inches where the link-pipe normally comes out. The baffles slip up inside the pipe it connects to which helps quieten it a bit and all you see is the tip sticking out.

Yup, don't like it really looks too much like someone has just taken an angle grinder to the link pipe to nick the can. Confused Confused Not really the same the ones on Moto GP bikes.

£140 including shipping to UK from the states.

I was tempted to make one up myself as looked quite simple, but in the end i decided i knew sod all about the maths behind baffle sizes and how different sizes would effect the power and exactly how much backpressure was needed so i figured these people had probably perfected it and just to go with them.

I like the exhaust mate. I'd probaby get something like that myself when I get a different bike. Bet it's loud. I know what you mean about going under tunnels though. Yours must be 100 times better than what mines sounds like. Cool

I'm 19 and ride a GSXR 600, insurance isn't too bad really you just have to make sure you phone around a lot, I expect it would be a lot worse if I had previously made a claim of some sort though. I think mine is around £500 third party only and I have 1 years no claims bonus.

It won't be too bad. One of my best mates has a Gixer Thou at 19 and he's paying £432 fully comp, with 3 years no claims from an RS50 at 16, RS125 at 17, and R6 at 18.
