Hi, I have a 1982 gs 125 and am trying to replace the ignition switch. I couldn’t get a nos 9pin ignition switch for it, but did get a 9 pin switch for a Ts 125. They both have similar colour wires, but I don’t think each colour does the same thing, e.g. power on the gs is red/white, on the Ts it’s red only I think. Does anyone have a list of what each colour wire does on the ts125, I think I’ve identified what each colour does on the gs, but need to match it to the Ts 125 ignition. Any wiring diagram or similar for the 9 pin Ts 125 out there?

Definitely 9 wires on the ignition switch and 9holes in the plug to receive them. Similarly 9 on the Ts switch, eBay has examples. Unfortunately the photo was too large to include.

Any service manual or picture of a 9 pin wiring diagram for the Ts would be appreciated.

I stand corrupted.
they didn't use a simple ignition switch but a combination switch for power, ignition and lights

cmsnl has one for £85

Thanks for this. Sorry for the late reply, I had a bit of a Wi-Fi outage, the dog ate the Wi-Fi socket and it took a while to replace. A young lab, it’s costing a fortune in tv remotes, bike saddles and helmets, shoes, books, toys, but the kids seem to like it anyway.
That looks pretty much like the right one. It’s a bit dear, so I might try to work with the one I have from the Ts and keep this as an option. Much appreciated, thanks again.
