Mirrors and L plates, both things which would be quite useful as a learner. Looks very clean and shiney, too clean and too shiney, go ride it rather than clean it. Razz

Might be worth changing those images to links as they're big files and there are still people with dialup. Thumbs Up

i dont mind the RS50s. It just annoys me when the Ped bois recon they can do my speedfight when they cant. They all say that their BIKE (cos its not a ped Wink ) can do 80 on flat. when my speedfight 70 only just scraped 70 on the flat, and somehow I can slay them.
But apart from that, i think its in the better colours. i cant stand the red and black. its too common.
Nice and clean by the way! Get riding it!
And people dont tell him to get L plates, you will ruin his street cred. Wink

I can understand that BUT there are two separate offences you can be done for (if memory serves):

1. Not having a tax disk.
2. Not displaying a tax disk.

If you don't display it, you can get a fine from the lovely traffic warden as well.

I had mine nicked, it cost me £7 to get a new one. But I bought myself a locking (well, screwed together) disc holder, and now it's fine, and I have no fines to worry about (except when Mr Gatso is nearby).

Tax disk is VERY important.
I had a police car pull me the other week telling me his system said i had no insurance. i explained i did and that his system probably hadnt updated as it was a new policy. He wasnt buying it till he saw i was displaying a brand new tax disk. This led him to conclude i MUST have insurance otherwise i wouldnt have tax. The whole thing was sorted out, but the point is, no tax disk on display leads the police to assume you dont have one, and that you dont have one because you dont have insurance/licence/ownership etc etc.

Tax disks are ugly things it must be said, however you can get a fancy colour co-ordinated disk holder to help make minimise its uglyness. It might also save you a load of greif when you get pulled Wink

Sorry, maybe my post came accross wrong. I just don't see the point in getting a big flashy bike, that underneath all the plastic is just a moped.

However, if he can afford to buy such an expensive moped, then he has my best wishes. It's alot nicer and less scally-ish than most 50ccs.

It's is the original Scally 50! I personally don't see the point in spenmding silly amounts on bikes till you find one you're going to settle on. But that's just me.

It's a disc that show's you've paid your road tax mate. has to be attatched to the bike, on the LHS in front of the rider somewhere. Apparently Very Happy

It's the money you pay to the Queen to use her roads for a year (in the UK anyway). In a cage, you're looking at up to 165, yet on a bike you won't pay more than £60 (can someone confirm this??) Anything like a 50 or a 125 will only cost you £15 a year.
