From the fastbikes photo shoot I went to in Purley the other day.
The blue GSXR1000 is my mate Paul's. He's only had it a week or two, he is very trusting!

The FastBikes photographer has told me that these are for personal use only and doesn't want to see em in any other mags or websites but I guess he means commercial websites so this should be okay.

The one of me on my bike was taken in the morning before people started doing lots of rolling burnouts, the one of me on the GSXR1000 was in the afternoon... Look at the ground in comparison!

erm I never wear nice trainers when riding a bike it totally fucks them. the gear levers leave black marks on your trainers, shoes which can't be washed off.

Some of the lads i go out with have a 'shitsock'.

Which is.... An old sock they put over their left shoe and can just take off when they get off the bike. Seems like not a bad idea for people who don't have boots unfortunatly I only saw the idea after i'd already fucked up my trainers.

Oh, and as for the safety nazi's... They can just piss off really. I was wearing gloves most of the day as you can see in the pic of me on my bike.

After dropping a bike when the laces on my trainers had wrapped around the gear change, I now only ever wear bike boots. Having a 500lb bike come crashing down on your leg isn't pleasant.

I tuck my laces in my shoes I dont tie bows well not since i was a nipper anyway. never had the problem except once when I was in a rush and jumped on the bike and sped off, stopped up the road to find my laces stuck but i luckily managed to snap the lace, phew!

Yeah I seen the shit sock idea around R1_lad but am never really that bothered about wearing nice trainers on my feet 24/7. when i do feel i want to wear something nice on my feet for whatever reason i pack them in a rucksack.

Cool pics. I have a feeling I've actually seen you pulling a wheelie in Redhill around lunch time on the a23 heading towards Croydon, a couple weeks or so ago. Same bike/colour and similar looking jacket anyway.
