Cheers m8, they are a Spanish company who sorta specialise in 50's. I've read they are gonna start selling 125's so hoping they use same chassis so i could try to just get the engine Wink

Both Derbi and Rieju have 125's on the market, so no doubt they will also follow along the same route. How good they will be, is the question.

The RX isnt that bad. Looks nice and all that, but only the sound puts me off. I've noticed an RX locally and it sounds horrendous for a 50cc (might just be his bike, after all, its not the best condition bike I've seen.)

The RX is a smart 50 though. Keep it upright and it'll stay smart for a long time. Thumbs Up

Being honest ive never really found the noise too bad, obviously it aint ever gonna be great because it is a 50 after all. The bike is good handling wise and aint had any problems with it so far.

Looks very spunk for a 50. If only they had the idea of putting a reliable 4 stroke yam into the chassis, they might be onto a winner there to compete with the CBR or even the new Derbi GP125? still a nice bike for what it is - a 50. congrats!

Nice bike. Best colour scheme i've seen, my mate had a yellow one which i didn't really like the look of but your's looks cool.

The Motorhispania came out way before the Peugeot copy, i've seen them both side by side and they are identical.

Sounds exactly the same as the Aprilia RS50 (same engine). I don't really like the sound of them either but all the sporty geared 50's sound the same to me Surprised . One of the main reasons why i got a speedfight 2 when i was 16.

Just for the record, MotorHispania is a division within Peugeot. If you notice, the MH RYZ (something like that) is also identical with the Peugeot XPS.

A lot of 50's are similar in this way, the Derbi and Gilera GPR50 for example. Thumbs Up

Very sweet Smile take care of her! when you turn 17, dont forget theres always a possibility to fit a big bore 70cc+, (legally) which would keep you going untill you wanted a larger bike..

Looks very nice for a 50 Razz

Yes that's the one, exactly the same lump. Very tuneable engine with plenty of performance parts available as the engine is fitted in quite a few 50's.

Its in something like 90% of modern 50cc's. Only people who make their own are people like Derbi. I believe the Yamaha TZR50 also runs on the AM6 lump. Suppose its a good thing, means they dont have to spend money developing a decent engine. Thumbs Up

Whats the biggest bore the AM6 can manage? I know the Derbi's lump can go to 80cc but no higher. Thinking

My speedfight has got an MHRrep engine in it... (well at least It did have... Very Happy )

I was looking at it thinking "Im sure ive seen those headlights before, then I thought "It must be just the same shape..." Then I saw the little reflecty lines at the top of the lenses...

Nice bike never the less..

With most 50cc motors, the crank only supports to around 70cc top end. With an 80 kit, the Derbi's stock con rod/crank are prone to damage. Not sure what you done to your scooter, but maybe jetting had something to do with the damage.

Chris, do you have any modifications planned for the RX monster?
