Well, as some of you may know, the NSR had a bit of an altercation with some ice, the monday before Xmas, resulting in a rather painful shoulder for me, and the same for the bike. Since then, the bike's been sat, waiting to be repaired and made roadworthy. During that time, the discs have gone rusty and I've lost 10psi in both tyres 80 . I've fixed both Smile. Well, the parts arrived, so today, my dad and I decided to make the NSR roadworthy again Smile.

Despite the mad stupid insane wind that blew wheelybins over, and then blew them down the road ( Shocked ), and the pissing rain, I (with help from NSR-Senior) spent two hours, both outdoors and indoors fixing my beloved bike Smile.

Well, the bike's not back the way it was, I suppose some things can only be fixed by pros (the top of my superglued panel snapped off when i put the panel back on Confused ), but it's a damn sight better than it was before Smile.

I'm taking it out for a run tomorrow with my mate Lee, taking it to CMC - ya see, when the lads at CMC took my fuel tank bolt off, they noticed it was missing, and replaced it with a nut and bolt - I was very impressed at their thoroughness Thumbs Up . Problem is, the thread on the nut's stripped, so until it's removed I can't top the bike up with oil. Luckily, a quick call to CMC and the lads say they'll fix it free of charge - Good one! Thumbs Up

Well, it's nice to have the NSR back, and when she's run in, I'm looking forward to spending some quality time on her Very Happy.

Smile - While crashing is of course, tremendous fun for all the family, I'm sure that in future I'm going to have to refrain from it Smile.
