I would have preferred black (or titanium), but it was a good deal, and I would have been daft to walk away because of the colour. I'll either learn to live with it, or paint it.

Cracking bike you've got there. Infact, would I be wrong if I said the colour of the bike matches your tatoos on your arms? Wink Smile

Okay, well nearly. But anyway, lovely bike, never seen them as an old mans bike myself, more of a hypersports touring kind of bike.

Nice one. Thumbs Up

I thought I'd pictured that red when we talked earlier but wasn't overly sure until I saw it again. IMO it's a decent colour red, not the bright Ferrari red that it could have been. Looking at the paint work it looks like a similar composition to my Blade. As I mentioned earlier it sort of has an iridescence to it in the sunlight.

I wasn't a 100% happy about the looks of the 954, I was sort of 90% there and the price did the rest. Then when I'd got used to and really liked the bike it was written off! So when I could only get a replacement in yellow, which at the time was my third favorite colour of the three, I had to remember how good the bike actually felt to ride. I've got to say that it gets better every time I ride it too.

I've forgotten about the colour and I've got used to it, I even sort of like it now. In fact out of the 02 colours it's probably made it into second place close behind the red and black.

I'd thought of getting it painted, but in my mind it sort of sets alarm bells ringing whenever I see something for sale that's been resprayed.

Nice. Smile I was thinking about getting one a couple of months back, but I didn't get the job that I was applying for, and the job that I have now isn't far enough away to justify getting one...

Shame it isn't FI, ho hum.

NOOO don't tell me you got rid of the speed triple? That was a lovely bike.

I'm afraid so, and I was really sorry to see it go, but naked bikes fuck me up nowadays, due to a recurring neck/shoulder injury. On the upside, I sold the Speed Trip to a mate, so I should still get a go from time to time. Thumbs Up Very Happy
