Very nice. Thumbs Up

Wouldn't mind some pics of the ZXR and your opinions on which you find better/why. Enjoy Kwak Mr. Green

The YZF burnt oil like buggery.... It was definitly rapid enough, had full acropovic system etc. Was uncomfy though, the guy I swapped with had it on ebay...

https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=4518169031&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT

It had a front end from a ZX7, the handling prior was wank!

I always liked the ZXR, got a ZXR H1 when they was new on HP, and when the ZXR L came out 4 years later I wanted one, but couldnt afford it... They have bullet-proof engines too. I havent had a proper go on it as Im a dry whether rider only and the whether hasnt been brill. I'll get some pics up tomorrow when I get it out....

I'll enjoy the Kwak, no worries about that...!

Shocked 135bhp from a YZF750R, very good. Doesn't look too bad, not as nice as mine though Razz . (Shame mine doesn't have that much power Sad )
When I originally bought my bike I had a look at a couple of ZXR750s and a couple of GSXR750s and hadn't really paid much attention to the YZF750 (the initial idea was to buy a TRX850 Confused ). I was persuaded to buy the YZF by Michelle and am glad I was talked into it, its comfy, fast (enough for me at least) its good for road riding and seems capable enough for trackdays.

yeh i got on with mine ok too, apart from it burning oil it was fine... after putting the pipes on last year i did everything to it to try and make it run better, it had a huge flatspot at low revs... i had the needle height done, stage 3 dynojet (could of done with 7 really) etc. but that lad had the carbs done and said it runs fine now...!

The bike was used as a race bike before I got it, but whilst I had it it never went near a track, got the FZR for that....!

The YZF was most definitly fast enough got 168mph on the A18, and 150 2's up... Thumbs Up
