maybe not, but how many rs50's modified as highly as that have you seen been riden on the roads?

It also said it used a new version of the Rs50 engine, suggesting that the entire engine isnt just tuned, but has been redesigned or replaced.

As soon as you make alot of modifications it stops being the original bike and becomes another. The normal way of combatting this in straightlining events is to require that the engine is unopened, otherwise there is no limit to what people can and will do.

Before that perticular Rs50 was created the 50cc world lad speed record was at 75mph and was held by Honda, likely a factory sposered effort.

So anybody who has an RS50 made before 2002 which is capable of 76mph without a bore kit should be contacting the guinness book of records to correct them in their mistake.

Oh well Very Happy I tried.

It is still an rs50 though...

Just found this, so they are basically saying they replaced everything in the engine with higher performing parts??
