Been thinking about a Gixxer 750 for sometime now. I keep telling myself, year or 2 down the line then go for a K4 model but I also like the older SRAD style ones too...

Seen this bike on biketrader and love it. I know some folk might find it ugly but I'm taken by it! The redy/orange wheels just set it off for me. More and more I'm tempted to trade the Kwak in for one!

What do you's guys think?

You're not getting a black and silver one if you do decide on it. Wink I've been deciding between a GSXR750 or a ZX6R 03/04 as my next bike.

No, nothing against your colour scheme but it has to be Blue and White. It's just those wheels tho, minted. Well in my eyes anyway.

Kwaks have to be Green same as Gixxer's have to be Blue and White! I've checked insurance and I'm very tempted, maybe not with the very one above but something very similar.
I just dunno.. Confused

Pretty sure that'll be an import with those orange wheels!!! (look nice though). Jap ones came here with the orange wheels. Check.

Good bike but do you need the extra? Question Suppose it doesn't matter, you probably want the extra. Twisted Evil Laughing

It doesn't matter what other people think, it's about what you think of it.

Personally I don't like SRADS, and I only like silver/back K models (like Silver's on this forum) but mostly like the new 04/05 style GSXR's... but that means nothing, as it's you riding it not us lot, so you go for one if you want one! And it sounds like you do....!

This is often touted "just go and do what you want, it's your money", etc.
I disagree. This choices are usually made on cosmetic reasons, when it is often quite a poor choice of bike for the purposes, one that the person might regret later, a choice that others may have made and regret.

Before chosing something I'm going to spend that much money on I have done a lot of research to make sure it's what is right for me. Asking for opinions on here is one way to do that.

While I don't have personal experience with SRADs, I would suggest you look at a cheap Y/K model, as these are supposed to offer quite a bit extra.

Will do consider a K model based on an MNC feture a few weeks back but it's more the looks of this bike that has attracted me. My friend does have a track prepped 600 SRAD but it's pretty rough and NOT road legal so even blagging a run on that is a not go.

Still love them wheels tho! Laughing

Personally dont think the colour of the wheels suit the gixxer..

Prefer them in the standard white or black myself..

For what its worth, see if you can get a look at the frame under the tank as my brother got one in his workshop recently to prepare for a TT clubman race and found 2 hairline cracks on the frame under the tank, dunno if its a fault which goes undetected until its too late or wether its a 1 off...
