I've rebuilt the Busa from scratch, it took me 6 days from start to finish. From a pile of parts on the garage floor to what you see before you now. Hope you like. Thumbs Up

Yep EVERY single little part of it & yes I did get some bits from Ebay too. That's one of the bonuses of a busa, there's loads of bits available for them due to born againers slinging them down the road & the car boys wanting just the engine, ecu & fuel injection off them for their toys.
You gotta have go faster stripes on a busa, everyone knows they don't go fast enough without them Laughing

I reckon I could've done it in 4/5 days if I wasn't such a lazy git & didn't get out of bed until 10 most mornings. Embarassed Then again, once I start I don't usually stop for at least 6/7 hours unless nature calls, then I crack on again!
Also I tend to work until 8/9 o'clock at night.
The hardest bit on the bike was getting the fairing back on, took me best part of an hour, with mucho cursing & swearing.
Thanks to Plastec by the way for the paint & to Ian Good who made me the iridium decals Thumbs Up
Also thanks to Danny of Just Motorcycles for his patience with my daft questions, borrowing of tools & for letting me blag loads of little odds & sods, like grommets etc. Oh & for selling me lots of titanium doodads for silly money...Top man our Danny, best mechanic in the Basingstoke area.
Quick plug for Plastec 01189 574577
& for Danny at Just Motorcycles 01256 326000

Thats Niice! Not a waste of 6 days Cool

Also can i ask if the front brakes dont seem as good with a wavey disk as the pads would have less metal to grip when stopping???

Not bad. I'm not really a fan of busas, but whatever floats ya boat. Thumbs Up

Should have taken some pics of the parts on the garage floor to make it more believable, by reading through the posts it seems not everyone believs you.

Looks very nice, but I was just wondering if you got to the end and still had a few bits left over! Very Happy

Would you believe the ex girlfriend.....? Yes I can vouch for the fact there was little else in the garage apart from a dirty engine on the floor. And bit by bit more things came back and Grubby is a marvellous engineer...in fact there are many parts on my bike which have been cleverly engineered by this guy.

A VERY handy person to know when it comes to mechanics or engineering of bits.....

Despite me being his ex, he has 'this weekend' fitted my Braking waveys, new pads and sorted out my yoke lower.....
