Me on my Hornet 600. Fair play to these cars they don't half move.
I was sitting there minding my own business in a layby on a dual carriageway I noticed this G40 ripping past I didn't think nothing of it but he came back up and went past me again so I thought he wants some fun. Anyway, I caught up and we end up doing a few runs on this dual. This thing was hard to lose up to 100 believe me he must of been only a few car lengths back. Anyway he ended up pulling over and we had a nice chat he mentioned all the mods he had done, quite a few, couldn't remember. He only had 1 seat in the car because he wanted to keep the weight down.
And for the speed brigade this was on an empty dual just now. |

thing is he's bought the car then sacrificed everything a car is about and ends up just about having a slim chance of keeping up with you! Last boy racer I had was on the motorway between carlisle and penrith, it was a mini cooper S (the supercharged ones) his gf was asleep and he was rocketing the fast lane, he went past me when I was doing 100, so I went past at 140 and let him catch up, on and on we went I left at penrith and we exchenged nods, guess it gives us all perspective! ____________________ RS125 > CBR6 > SV650S > ZX636R > GSX1300RZ Hayabusa > 06 RSVR Mille

If he's stripped the interior out etc, he is probably intending to use it as a track car as well. If it has the right bits on it a G40 will handle superbly so I don't see it as a question of why do that to a car when you could get the thrills from a bike - it's just different. |

Each to their own I guess. I was laughing when he was talking about the amount of high powered cars he has surprised. |

| Well it would take a lot of engine tweaking and weight loss to get the standard 0-60 time of 8 seconds down to anything really surprising but they will go round corners well. As you said - each to their own. |

G40's are seriously underestimated cars. I'm sure PaulYZF will be on here to add his comments |
