Hi Jon,

Thanks. I got an excellent deal on it. £1550, just over 5000 miles (5600 now as I did 400 miles in the first two days Razz) and it is a V reg 1999.

The reason I got it for such a good price was because the guy was starting a bar up that weekend and needed a quick sale. Its mint apart from the left hand wing mirror which is cracked, but for the price I got it for it is a small price to pay!

Yea, I am going to fix it. I can't let it go!

But I think the extent of the damage may be more, like I said in the other thread, when I let go of the handlebars when moving along the bike leans to the left, well like steers to the left...

It should just go straight shouldnt it?

as long as the preload etc is all even it should go straight

the lean (assuming you not makin it do it)

suggests a bent frame or bent forks

make a line on a flat surface and see if the front and rear wheel will both sit on it at the same time and looks all normal, look at the angle of the bike wheels etc

was told this was a crude way to check for a bent frame
