On the first bike, is the exhaust that colour intentionally, or did it turn that colour? If so, why? i vaygly(sp?) understand it's something to do with heat...

Something to do with heat and something reacting with the pipe Thinking Not sure tbh...

My scooters doing it too though near the manifold...

true, i got quite a good deal on it paid £1800 with 12000km n reg which i think is 1995. need bits touching up but well worth the money Cool

It's actually a very light form of oxidation (rust), it's actually a good thing because it can't rust to deterioration now. Thumbs Up
