I'm not sure about evening trackdays (although I've never done one). There are a couple of things that I think might happen that put me off:
1) You just start getting into it, and it finishes.
2) Your concentration levels are cack, because you've already been up all day when you start.
3) You get home at 1am
4) The organiser's are not too arsed, because they've been at it all day with the normal trackday.
All of these may be unfounded of course, but they're the reasons that have put me off in the past.
Craig, it's only really the big, full circuits that cost £150+ (Donington GP (full noise), Oulton Park and Brands GP). I've even done the full Silverstone circuit for £85!
Just get your £160 out and come to Donington on Tuesday... weather reports are saying 23 degrees C! |

Evening track days suck, for the price you could pay a bit more and do a full day at one of the smaller tracks such as cadwell, stop being a fanny! |
