There are many posts in BCF which include pictures and photo's within the posting itself.

Can someone advise me on how to do that, rather than having to add attachments which people have to download in order to view them.

There doesn't seem to be a way of actually including a photo which will be displayed when the thread is displayed.

Yeah, OK, so I'm probably a dunce and missing something obvious, but at least I know I am. So no-one can offend me by calling me names - ha!

Help required please.

You need to have the picture uploaded somewhere and then just do and it will put that image in your post. Smile

Then just do what Ste ?

The bit in the middle of your posting which I presume is supposed to be a picture just appears as an unavailable image (usual blank red cross).

Hmm...

We're struggling here, aren't we ?

I could be wrong, but it seems like if you add a picture as an attachment, it will display it below the post if it is below a certain size, presumably so it fits the screen ok. I tend to reduce mine to below 400 pixels wide and it always shows them, rather than making you download them.

OK, impaler, lets see if this one works then.

I've reduced my image to VGA proportions - 640 x 480 (ish). If it works there should be a picture of my bike just below here.

Old Thread Alert!
