Lydden Weekend Trackday Anyone? (15th October??)

I'm looking at doing a day at Lydden this year, leaving the R6 and all the tarty racing gear at home and taking the Supermoto for some good old fashioned novice group fun. Have found 3 weekend dates in the coming months that look good, anybody else fancy any of them?

Anyone booked for Saturday 15-Oct-05? Anyone ridden Lydden before? What's it like as a track? I've only heard bad things from people, but very few of these have actually ridden it.

Not booked yet, probably will if I have a bike.

I have ridden it (track day and race/practice days). Personally, I like it.

While it isn't as grand as Cadwell or as long as Silverstone, it does have a bit of everything.
A long sweeping corner, hairpin, tight left hander, camber changes, dips and brows.

I found it a very easy track to learn (have all ways seemed to do 'well' there so far though) - not having many corners means you can concentrate on them more.

Hi, fairly new to this track day lark but unfortunately gonna have to wait for just over another year due to having a restricted licence Sad

but are spectators allowed at track days, I only live 5 miles away - would be good to see the action.

Restricted licence is fine on the whole for trackdays.

I'll be doing Lydd a week tomorrow. I'll report back as to how it goes.
