Page reloads over and over and over....

I have problems viewing some pages on certain threads. The only thing that I see different between pages that load properly and pages that don't, are that the pages that don't load - have attachments.

What happens is that I click to open and the page loads, then reloads and reloads continuously. I can tell it's reloading because of the progress bar in IE but all I see is a blank screen. The only way I can view the page is by pressing the stop button and trying to stop it at the end of the cycle.

Anyone else experience this?

I do have this problem with Internet Explorer, but not with Opera.

I'm using IE 6.0.2900.2180.xp_sp2_gdr.050301-1519, which is basically XP Service Pack 2 and fully up-to-date with critical updates.
