flash cartoons

I'm feeling unfulfilled and need a new challenge I fancied trying my hand at making flash cartoons, but dont know where to start or what i need to get going. Don't suppose any of you guys do this a a hobby?

Any ideas what software i need? Where's the best place to start? Any tips or hints that'll help me get started?

Ive never tried it, but this site has lots of info, aswell as a portal to submit flash.

what you want is macromedia flash, 7 i think is the most recent version. you can get it off limewire.

once you download it, youl need a keycode generator so you can use it.

there are loads of sited with tutorials to use and once you get into it, its quite easy to make good flash animations.

i cant attach any of mine here, but a good site to look for is www.newgrounds.com

they have loads of animations and games there, all in flash, as well as some basic tutorials.

I'm always on newgrounds.com playing the games and watching the cartoons, and i've never seen that page on the tutorials!! Thanks for pointing that one out

your actually probably just better downloading flash MX and playing around with it, youl learn it soon enough lol
