special tyres, kit etc. or do you just ride down on your bike, raz around and ride back?

do you have any funky gear?

e.g. tyre warmers, nice paddock stand.

post your checklist.

Ride there and back

I take spare visors, set of allen keys, tyre pressure gauge, roll of gaffer tape and some snacks and water.

Personally, I take the bike in a van/trailer.

Just means I can carry my usual load of:

Arrow Spare Fuel
Arrow Paddock Stands
Arrow Toolkit
Arrow Oil
Arrow Lunch
Arrow Spares for the bike.

Also means I can relax on the way home, as track work is tiring.

Every track day i've done i've riden too. Just take the dark visor if i'm not waring it and plenty of junk food and water to keep sugar and hydration levels up.

Depends who else is going - eg. G and Korn bring huge toolkits so not much point bringing mine. If they're not going, I'd bring mine.

Munchies and drinks cos they're usually really expensive at the circuit.

Paddock stands and tyre warmers I'll bring if I'm vanning it but I wouldn't class them as essentials. Likewise jerrycan for fuel - handy if there's transport but it's no biggie to nip down the road for fuel.

Basic spares, I've got levers and footpegs cos they're the easiest bits to break on my bike.

If I'm not riding there, I'll throw a couple of folding chairs in the van so I can have a little rest between sessions.

I'm gonna write what I need to take to Silverstone, so I can actually use this as a checklist in a week or so.

Bike!
Car
Trailer
Foot pump
Pressure guage
Leathers, lid, gloves & boots
Jerry can with petrol
Paddock stand
Both parts of licence!!
Plenty of food and drink!
Camera
Electrical/gaffa tap
Cable ties
Tools! (I take my main toolbox, enough to fix anything that is fixable trackside)
Spare visor (dark/clear)

I don't take tyre warmers because I don't have any! Ditto with spare levers etc.

Although when I went to Snetterton with the MZ, I took this..

Far, far too much to list.

My memory card died and ate my checklist, but I'll post up one if I redo it.

A small selection.
At least one of every single spare I could possibly need - ok, that's a whole bike Smile.
Padock stands, abba stand, slot in side stand, tyre warmers, generator.
Tool kits, boxes of nuts, bolts, washers, r-clips, rivvets etc.
Spare set of leathers, spare helmets, hopefully spare gloves this time Neutral.
Gazebo, chairs, fold up bed for use as a chair
Hopefully some half decent cooking stuff soon

Hoooo, I couldn't resist... have you looked at your own bike? Just 'cos it's covered with the inside of a tart's handbag doesn't mean it's actually beuatiful Wink.

First it was just a bike, some leathers and a tankbag...
https://www.kornel.com/gallery/albums/Lydden/normal_untitled11.jpg

Then a few trackdays later it was a car boot full of stuff and the bike on a trailer...
https://www.kornel.com/gallery/albums/Croft/normal_P1010001.JPG

A few more trackdays and I now needed a van...
https://www.kornel.com/gallery/albums/userpics/normal_Z1010038.jpg

Which soon filled up with yet more stuff...
https://www.kornel.com/gallery/albums/Brands/normal_P1010025.jpg

I seem to remember G once brought a big combined printer/scanner/fax machine to a trackday, and seemed puzzled when people asked him why he needed it... "Just in case"... Laughing

I take alot of what G takes (I don't own all the stuff though) including big Clarke Tool Cabinet and Top box.

I'm supprised no one seems to have listed spares, as follows;

bodywork
mudguards/huggers
Forks
Springs
Shock
Bike?
Rearsets - Pegs - Spigots
Exhausts
Clip-ons - Grips
Screens
Brake Pads
Clutch Plates
Calipers
Hoses
Brake Discs
Wheels
Tyres
air filters
air tubes
sprockets and chains (varying sizes)
Frame & Swinger (I do!)
Engine Cases and internals (I do!)
leathers
helmets
gloves
boots

I would also be taking a caravan with me, bikes and most of the kit in the van, an awning in the caravan.

Table and chairs of the foldup variety and much beer! lol Bog roll is a must, don't rely on the paddock toilets having some, most run out straight away!

If you can, take a bucket and sponge, for cleaning the bike when you have binned it into muddy grass!
