Anyone have any ideas on whether YZ plastics would fit on to my early 90's DT or would they need any major adjustments? As its sittin naked now and i wanna give it a new look. Smile nice1

fenders and rear side plastics are bodgable but when you start thinking tank and stuff its just not worth the effort

Thanks lad. would you go for YZ fenders and rear side panels and just get new DT fairings for the sides of the tank? or just get newer model dt plastics?

early 90s is still a dtr. I would or sujest the easyest thing is to get any nice looking front fender you like... chop exsiting rear fender..(if you cut to teh marks that are indened in it , you can slide it up about 5") get some ufo, fender rear light.... and the side plastics are allot of effort to change BUT,,, again if you chop them you can make tehm look yz ish Thumbs Up

ufo headlight .... sorted

Then ride like a tit Razz

Thanks m8. is that your bike? it luks f.u.k.i.n. sweet, is that without any chopping? are they what i would need to to make my dt look like that. as i have binned my existing plastics they where wrecked, what year are they from and how much dya reckon?

Yer my old toy ebayed it for part sold all the plastics+ tank and headlight for like £120 i think....

Thats with chopping but its not a huge amount just makes it look a bit newer. Not hard to do though i did have a bandage around my fingure for a while lol cut away from your self Razz Did have some pictures say what to chop but you shoudl be able to work it out.

how difficult is it to fit the ufo headlight? Was it ziptied on?

comes with these rubber huge sorta zip tie type thing that connects it to forks.

On the yz side Rear plastics just found a set of white ones i the garden if anyone want to make me a small offer Wink
