There seems to be loads of diesel on the roads today, I just had the old beemer going sideways round a roundabout. Shocked
For anyone in the Reading area this is the roundabout outside Calcot Sainsbury's.

I've been riding for 4 years now and have never seen so much diesel on the roads.

Take care out there people. Karma

Agreed. There was a huge puddle of the stuff on the Waitrose roundabout on the A329/Oxford Rd coming out of town.

It was like someone had greased the roads this morning. Not fun

Hopefully the thunderstorms will shift it round my way. Mind you, I've just bought a diesel car, I will be checking every hose and making sure it's never overfilled.

Cheers

There's always lots of diesel there - thanks to the buses and many delivery trucks for all the shops / companies behind there.

I once followed an evirmontel services agency (or something) truck that had left it's fuel cap off after filling up - was sloshing a big stream out around there.

Sadly I was already late for work, so couldn't do 'owt.

I've noticed there is usually a lot of diesel there, but today was exceptionally bad.
I lost the front end momentarily when turning into the roundabout then the backend went sideways big style.

When there's a spot of rain, doesn't it bring the diesel and oil to the surface of the road again?

We need a proper downpour for a good few hours to was all the crap away and leave everythnig feeling fresh.

Very Happy

Also the prolonged hot weather means a lot of oil and diesel is left on the road and after a quick thunderstorm it turns into a skating rink.
