is there a special name for when they just do stunts in an arena and get points for the tricks rather than racing round a track? been trying to find more info on it but if I type moto-x it just comes with with racing stuff rather than stunts.

Supercross is the indoor stuff, and Freestyle Supercross is the indoor stunts.

I strongly suspect you'll get more relevant results from typing freestyle supercross in to google rather than freestyle motocross.
