Figured as it's nearly finished I'd post up a few pix...

Tis a `92 Mito Mk2 ex-track bike (going back a few years), reconverted back to a roadbike with lots of mismatches goin' on left right and centre...

Before (day I picked her up):

Then the bottom end went, so figured whilst off-road would repair the tatty scrawked fairings (you can't make out the damage in above pix - they were intentionally taken from an angle that'd hide the scrawks as best poss - closeup they were just plain nasty, with some severe damage on the opposite side)

After:

Liked the chrome sleeving that I used on the pipes... just finished it off nicely for me - couldn't afford braided lines. Still wants a few Cagiva and Mito logos adding to finish the sticker-job, and a black pillion seat and new rear-rest...

Already had some folks comments on it over at 125ccsportsbikes... at end of day tho, s'my bike, I did all the work, and I like the outcome... along with the self-satisfaction that doin' it all meself brings. Total cost: £30 fer the pearl-paint (camera doesn't do it justice) n' that's the lot. Rest was all free Wink (well, other than the full engine rebuild... that was most definitely NOT free)

Aye... all the above in progress - altho finding a tinted screen for an old Mk2 mito is provin' rather tricky... was toying with idea of anodising swingarm, but too much hassle, so will gradually polish it up over winter. Downpipes I'm holding off on til I get a new exhaust system for her...

Ta folks! Very Happy
