hi
i've been looking for a husqvarna 610e frame and i have found someone whos breaking one but am unsure of what sort of money the frames worth.

basically i offered him £250-300 for the frame with head race bearings left in it and nothing else.

i wanted to know whether you peeps think this is fair, because i don';t wanna pay way more than i could find another 1 for, and i said i'd ask around to try and get a better picture

over to you

cheers

Hi

2nd hand frames tend to be worth a fair amount as they can be used to give a stolen bike a new identity (in many ways the biggest risk with buying a repaired write off). Often a brand new frame is cheaper than a 2nd hand one.

All the best

Keith

Why do disagree? Easy way with UK laws tp palm off a stolen bike.

All the best
