This thread is awsome and it should be "bumped" at least once a month. And anyone complaining about it should be shot, hung, drawn, quartered then shot again.

Seriously though it was this thread that has inspired my cg bobber project. I did try to buy the 550 off the present owner, but he saw sense and decided to not sell Laughing

In sake of all who dont know what happened after the above pics.

Nath Continued along the lines of the hardtale, and raked the front end - Chopped?

And it won Best Ratbike at Rat and survival 2008.

Nath sold it shortly after- To me..

I Entered it at a "Show and shine" Rally muahaha

And won best ratbike!

get your finger out and do it now (ok next summer), save your pennies, get your bike ready and go ....

if you keep "hoping" to do something it'll never happen, then you'll have reached pension age and be sitting there saying "i wish i had done such and such back when i was young enough to appreciate it"...

when you're young it's a major exploration/event, when you're my age it's much less
