My BCF Intro: Good day all,
Iím retired; living the good life in Morocco and Northern California. Iím happy to join your forum, and hope to be a useful contributor. Been riding since age 16. Iíve owned 20 bikes in the 51 years since then. Rode a 1962 BMW R60 for 29 years; then put 107,000 miles on a Honda PC800. My favorite bike of all time is the fifth generation Honda VFR 800. My í98 VFR had 117,000 miles on the clock when I sold it, and my 2000 VFR had 36,000 on it when my son crashed it. Now Iíve downsized a bit (power wise) to a BMW R1150R. Iíve done all my own maintenance over the years, including electrical repairs on both VFRís and the PC800, and hope my experience might be of value to somebody.

Last year I purchased a Yamaha YBR 125 for tooling around the country roads here in Morocco. Itís a cracking little bike, and Iím having as much fun on it than on any other bike Iíve owned. Check out this link: https://advrider.com/f/threads/riding-moroccan-backroads-on-a-yamaha-ybr-125.1378514/ There are a lot of YBRís in the UK, which is why I joined Bike Chat Forum. There is no dedicated YBR discussion group that Iím aware of, but the BCF has some interesting YBR related content.

Thatís enough for now. The UK jargon is a little foreign to me, but Iíll figure it out. Take care all. Keep the rubber side down. Peace, Jeff J.
