Hi, my real name is Dwayne, I am a born again biker. Well I say born again if you call a 30 year gap born again. Used to ride Moto X bikes when I was a kid back in Australia then gave them up as my parents thought them dangerous on the road, they still do. What got me back into it was my son wanting a bike when he was 16, he didnt want a ped so I got him a nice Yamaha TZR50, so its his fault I started again. Passed my CBT in April 2007 and did my DAS in Northwich on October of 2007. Have had my Cat now for a short time but doing lots of work to get her like new, well as dam near. All the hard work on the Cat paid off as I got a lot more for it than I bought her for. Bought my dream bike in April 2009 - Yamaha R1 2003 in red/white/black. Now spending time doing the same to "Betty the R1" as I did with the cat, but don't intent on selling her. So far, other than the usual mods such as indies, I have added an OHLINS steering damper, Acumen gear indicator (no more 7th gear lol) and a cut down Termignoni race can. Carbon hugger and painted the chain guard satin black, so no more white!!! Still lots to do but I will finish her before the summer comes.
