Bikes
RVF 400 1996
Used to own an RVF, untill some Golf driver decided he wanted to pull out on me. RIP my first bike. She taught me alot about riding. Many would back me up when i say the handling on these machines are awesome, point and shoot. She's scared me, looked after and gave me a real insight into the world of motorcycling. I would recommend highly one of these bikes, just make sure its mint cos' one bad thing about an RVF is they dont come cheap :S
Well heres my 96' RVF400

CBR 600 2001
Unfortantly i had an accident on the RVF, where by a car pulled out infront of me. In turn this wrote off the RVF Sad. But with that gone a replacement was needed. Here the CBR600 came. Was told by many too take this as a message and upgrade. Sure did, and my gosh. Its ace. Yes i'll admit the insurance is high (only 18 rem) but worth every penny. Ive added a micron exhaust now and now runs much more smooth. I can not fault this bike, it's giving me all the information i need to progress into large CC motorcycles. I wish to keep this for atleast 18months or so.
well here she is...

Mods
Like most of us, started to mod the cbr. As mentioned above i've added the Micron Race Can (Delta + System). Removed some flat spots in the rev range, also noticed much quicker responce in the throttle.

Also my lovely girlfriend for Christmas has brought me a K&N air filter. Had been talking about them and she caught on and brought me one. Top girlfriend is all i'm saying.

Now with the above on the bike and reading alot on a CBR forum i've gone and order a Power Commander III USB. Already got the map ready for it. Should have that in next coming week. I decided it's prob the best thing to do now with the race can and race air filter. Can not wait to try them out on the track and on the roads come better weather.

Mod's to come.... DB screen, Ohlins Suspension maybe, But would really like to change the rear end. Personally think Honda just got bored when designing the rear end on the F Sport. Thinking along the lines of the 954 rear or RR.

As soon as the nicer weather greets us ill be at the track days and meets when i can.
Catch you around

G2f - Andy
