Nicola's Public Bio
I'm 25, and passed my test last October and bought my first bike this march, a gsxr600 K3 New, I could harly touch the floor and had the seat cut down to help, I totally love it to bits and have no regrets what so ever.

The first month of riding was petrifying I wont lie I was very slow and a little wobbly at first and very scared of the bike which isn?t a bad thing IMO, I had this new, heavy and fast bike I was wobbling about on (mainly when stopping and slow manovers) but I am so so glad I got my favourite bike, it makes me really happy!

I think you can ride what you like as long as you have the common sense to know that most bikes are very powerful and if you get irresponsible, over confident and abuse them you'll get bitten on the arse?.hard or worse!

All those people who laughed at me for being ?silly? are now laughing on the other side of their faces, especially after a ride out and they find out I have only been riding 6 months. So laughing at someone who wants to start on something bigger than what others might have started on is not always the way forward, even if that worked for them!

I have always loved the K's and didn?t want anything else, simple as that. But I also understand why there are lots of mixed views on having this as a first bike, I had the same thoughts myself, but I?m stubborn and want what I want.

I've done 5000 miles and get on really well with her, I have learned loads and is lucky that it worked out, yes I've had the odd moment, but don?t we all and even experienced riders still have theirs too, that?s what makes them experienced and in some cases a better rider.

If you think I?m mad, may be I am, but I?m still alive and happy so ner ner!
