The first motorbike i ever rode was a BSA Bantam, on a railway track. The first bike i ever owned was a Suzuki AP50.....we got 9 people on that once. My first totally road legal bike was a Honda C90..only 4 hours before i bent the forks unable to stop for a kerb. Still my achilles heel, kerbs.
Next up was a Suzuki GP100, sold that and then bought a Yamaha RXS100.

Despite not having a license I then bought a Suzuki GT380, and blew it up. For some daft reason my next bike was a Triumph Trophy chop. Big long forks, massive Avon Roadrunner at the back, and if it wasn't painted blue, or anodised blue, it was chrome.

Other bikes I've either owned for a short time (either ragging them to death or having had them taken away by Mr Plod) include 2 Honda C50s, Puch Maxi (chick magnet), Suzuki TS100, and an NSU of undetermined CC.
Eventually sold everything though to buy and build a rally car, and got into rallying for a good few years. Apart from brief ownership of a Yamaha RD250 that I used to ride to Germany (still at this point with no licence) I got more into cars than bikes, but whenever I rode a friend's bike (Kawasaki GPZ600 and a GPX100) I would remember the fun of them and start wishing for a bike again.
Through a friend of a friend of a friend, I somehow landed a job as a speedway and grasstrack mechanic for an established British rider (and occasionally for a not-so established but crazy-ass French rider). He did most of his speedway in the UK, and most of his grasstrack in Europe. We went everywhere. It was a great time. The only reason that ended was because I got sick of the part time day job that went with it (not to mention his mental wife). It was looking after chickens. All 18,000 of them.
In 2008, partly driven by rising fuel costs, and partly because I wasn't having fun with cars so much I decided to get back into bikes.

Bought the NSR125 in July, spent lots of time and money (4 months and probably over ?500 later) I rebuilt the top end, fitted new chain and sprockets, put in new fok seals (several times...) replaced the wheel bearings front and rear, and generally fixed all the other little things.
Did my CBT in October 08, took my Theory in January 09 and passed my test in March 09.
Decided, obviously, that it was time to get a big bike. Went for a Bandit 600 as I still think they're one of the best looking naked bikes around.
I now ride my Bandit and, for the first time in my life, completely road legal on a big bike, and I'm happy.
I love it-tuh.

Latest addition is a KLX 250 (needed a spare while the Bandit was off the road). Looking to sell it son though, not keen on 4T singles.

So, sold the Kwak after taking it completely apart and painting the frame.
Then, after the crash on the Bandit in June '15, the buy back price from the insurers was way too high so heartbroken i had to say goodbye to it
Bought an FZ6 to replace it soon after;

It's better than the Bandit in almost every respect.........but i still miss the Bandit
Still have the FZ atm, but now that i have this wonderful piece of engineering:

it's time to clean up and sell.
And then spend all the money on the Triple...
And how it's looking now:

And thanks to someone pulling out in front of me, this has now been written off (though hopefully still fixable). So, i bought another in the meantime.
I present..the Triple twins..
