38, wife, 3 kids, mortgage. Getting back into biking as never passed test when younger, a car with 4 seats for friends seemed more important. DAS passed 2nd Sept 2008. Current GS500 '02.
I'm no GSXR/YZF guy, all that race rep stuff looks the nuts but for me they're no good on the road, I wouldn't be able to use even a quarter of what they can do. My GS500 will do for now and i'll have a nice sports/tourer as my next bike, something with a little wind protection but not something that places my arse higher than my head when I sit on it thank you very much..
