My name is Simon.
As a result of a life changing Motorbike accident, 11 years ago now, I can no longer ride a Bike. Or walk ! . Or even talk !, well not so you could easily understand me. I received a head injury. Even though I WAS wearing an expensive AGV helmet. I also broke my right leg and right thumb. Again I was wearing my leathers, I would NEVER go out without without them !
So “what happened ?”, I wish I knew. But as I was out cold, and spent the following 2 weeks in a coma, I AM just going to have to take that mystery to my grave.
I now live in a bungalow in Marple, which my partner Justine found for us, before I was released from hospital after a whole year ! She IS incredible. Especially when you learn that she was on the bike too. And although I had again kitted her out with Hein Gericke and an Arai helmet, she also broke her right leg. And some how, ?????, managed 2 break her jaw, IN 3 PLACES !
I can no longer seek paid employment. AND even my offers to work for free, are proving to be difficult. So I just sit here 24/7 day in day out !
