My interest in bikes started a couple of years ago when I got hold of an old '76 Honda XL125. Having restored it and had plenty of fun off road I'm now in the process of getting ON the road. This time it's a Honda CB125T-B from 1981. I bought it as a barn find non-runner and it was full of spiders nests and a mouse nest where the battery should be. I've taken it back to a bare metal frame and am in the process of turning it into a Cafe Racer. Initially this was not the plan in fact I didn't even know what a cafe racer was when I started the project. It simply came about because I was trying to spend as little as possible and put back on the bike as few parts as possible. So now I'm entering the final stretch of the project and getting things buttoned up and road legal. So that's why I've arrived at BCF because it's easy to strip a bike and bolt on a few parts but it's the niggly details that need the help of the experts!
