Old Tearaway's Public Bio
I have a Suzuki GT550B which I used to drag race back in the late 1980's and at least 15 Jawa and CZ motorcycle plus a tuned Babetta 2 speed moped. Jawa and CZ is a brand I've stuck with since 1980 because it is so reliable with excellent OEM parts and aftermarket support. Being so heavily restricted with power ooutput they tune up well.

The worst bike I've ever owned was a Suzuki GT250 X7 with the awful "rubber" flexible forks which handled s**t compared to a CZ, RD or the like.

The worst bike I've ever ridden was a Honda CB250N. I was taking it for an MOT for a friend. The Honda CB250N Superdream doesn't accellerate..... it gradually gains momentum, as another friend put it after a ride.

Oldest bike I've ridden was a friend's race tuned 1929 Rudge Ulster 500cc that had been converted to foot change from hand. One wouldn't believe that a vintage engine could be happily revved so high.... 54 HP on the Dyno.
