depends how much you want to spend, and what level of quality and recording time you want.
I've got a Dogcam which is mated to an external mic and recorded on a Goodmans GDR personal media player, or a JVC camcorder. The Goodmans unit has a poorer quality recording, but a 4Gb card means I can record several hours. the camcorder is a Mini DV item, and the tapes last about an hour and a half.
price wise, you're looking at several hundred for a full kit of bullet cam, camcorder and all associated gubbins.
There are some bullet cams on Ebay that record straight onto an SDcard, but I've no idea of the quality.

Well heres a very short video about 11 seconds of a overtake. I tried to edit the file in the highest quality I could as youtube doesn't really do it justice.
Anyway unless you have already found the link for the one I bought off eBay here it is
Camera on Ebay
By the way does anyone know how to reduce all that crap above into a hyperlink? *thanks Keith ____________________ Bikes: Honda CBR250RR [sold], Yamaha FZR600 [sold], Honda CBR600RR6

on the gadget show channel 5, there was some wicked cam for $129.99 US (the exchange rate at the moment is just less than $2=£1), though OS won't send direct to the UK, instead you have to get it through their UK site who bumps it upto £160 approx

On ebay.com if you look it's around £100 and ask nicely for the company to send it as a 'gift' you might not pay the extra duty tax when they send it over here.
It looks an awesome cam..on youtube there's a couple of people who've got one and strapped it to a bike..looks cool.
edit: sorry I nicked simonb's idea, didn't see that post for some reason, anyway..top bit of kit, havin one as soon as i get paid. ____________________ _______________

I just used an old Samsung A6 camera I had laying around.
Had been meaning to buy a vid cam for it but one day I was taking pics of a ride out and was talking to a mate about it.
He said why would ya buy one? Doesn't that do video clips
Anyway I grabbed one of those tiny tripods a piece of flat steel and mounted it as you can see in the pic below .
Also in the pic is the Zumo on its own mount.
Turned out quite well.
Ive also included a short clip of a test I did with it. Pretty happy with the quality. Just need to pick up a 2gig card for it.
the 512 works ok but only if I drop the res a bit.

Yeah it aint pretty but it works.
Will get around to painting it one day I spose.
With the rubber type washers I have on there it can be removed by hand and it doesnt come off.
Sometimes the camera swivels and it can be a bit of fun trying to straighten it mid corner ____________________ meh |
