doubt it if zimms got no inshurance there frow the book at him, and it wouldnt surprise me if he had to pay to any damage to the taxi evan though zimm was the inocent party.

my dad has crap eye site if he dosnt wear his glasses he cant see anything, any way hes got a habbit of picking up letters and puttin them in a draw for us to sort threw, we was drivin through southampton just stoppin for some traffic lights when he an over some old blokes foot he man was about 70ish and collapsed on the deck so the police were called, it turns out his inshurance ran out 3DAYS prior, and cos he didnt look at the reminder letter he didnt no.

he got a £300 fine for drivin with no inshurance, 3 points and was ordered to pay £2000 damages to the old bloke evan though he was stod in the middle of the road Sad

If he can prove the accident wasn't his fault they shouldn't make him pay, infact he should still probably be able to claim of their insurance.

btw, my mate done the same thing but worse (he tried to get away) and even though he got caught he got a fine and 6 points cos its a civil offence, not a criminal offence.
