Brake pads will take some time to bed in. I've just changed the fronts on mine and the brakes are crap at the moment! Just give it a little time and a few miles and they'll be OK. ____________________ Dead nobodies in company cars... |

Just take it easy, and plan further ahead until the "feel" of the brakes comes back to normal.
Basically the brakes will feel a little vague until the surface of the pads exactly match the surfaces of the disks (bedding in).
(I'm due to change the front pads on mine pretty soon, but I have a ride planned for the weekend, so will probably wait till next week so that I can bed the brakes in close to home.) ____________________ 1st bike (Sept'06 - May'10) : 1991 GPZ500S / Current bike (since Nov 2009) : 2003 Suzuki Bandit 600N

Yeah just take it easy they will bedding nice after a few hundred miles,
Dont use them to hard when bedding if possible or else you will glaze them and that means taking them off and rubbing down with sandpapper |
