chasing a mouse about my girlfriend house.... Mad

It was like a scene out of that movie Mousehunt !!! NO JOKE ! Evil or Very Mad

The other day we decided to buy some mice to breed so we could feed her pet dragon on their young. Bought 5 of them (2 females and at least 1 definate male).

https://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l100/Photobucket_Gazz/3-1.jpg

We let them run wild and shag each other for a couple of days and then tonight we decided to segregate their cage into 4 seperate 'love nests' and await on the babies coming.

HOWEVER....

I dropped one of the wee bastards on the floor and he magically turned into Usain Bolt!!! Confused

He ran round the outside of the living room and then decided to make a mad dash for her fire; jumped inside and climbed up inside her walls!

Spent the next 3 and a half hours trying to get him out of the wall/fire with some food. Rolling Eyes

Set up a plastic box with a little pull string mechanism and some cheese/pitta bread/popcorn under it as bait. After hours of waiting, I see 'something' out of the side of my eye moving - and guess what??? THE FUCKER HAD TRICKED ME, slipped out the side ! Neutral

I then blocked the fire with a book and my wallet and chased it about the living room again. This wee fucker is fast. Eventually, by pure luck he went under my plastic box (I had moved it by this time), and I got him !!!! Mr. Green

P.S. I should have added that Julie's (my girlfriend) parents are on holiday just now and would have booted my arse if they knew what had happened in their house while they were away, especially since they are against the mouse feeding to the dragons. Sick

P.P.S - [A little off topic]. We actually bought a famous mouse. This mouse was NOT the one that got away though. He had been on Real Radio in Scotland - here is a video clip of it:

I suggested that to my girlfriend but she said "NO!!!!" without hesitatation.

She didn't want it to burn and die behind there due to the smell of BBQ mouse.

It is a bearded dragon.

She has 4 of them in the house, although only one of them belongs to her (his name is Elliott).

Her brother has 2 and her mother has 1.

Elliott is the baby of the pack. Here is a video of him chasing tweezers (because he thinks there is food on the end of it):
