As for NCBs, I was just wondering if you are put down as a named rider, but not the proposer of the actual insurance policy, do you still gain an NCB as the years go by?
Was wondering, as putting me as a named rider under my Dad proposing takes about £2600 off of the insurance quote.
Looked around, can't seem to find an answer.
Thanks. ____________________ "Four wheels move the body, two wheels move the soul."

Well I wouldn't consider it 'fronting' as my Dad will be using the bike just as much as I will more than likely for his solo journeys and only using his bike when the mother wants to two-up with him.
He'll also be the registered owner of the bike too, so I can't really see it being labelled as fronting.
However, we are talking about insurance companies I guess..
I was just wondering if it was worth taking the extra hit if I didn't build an NCB and just do it all in my name or if I do gain an NCB we will just peddle our insurance together.. ____________________ "Four wheels move the body, two wheels move the soul."

Stick his name on the V5c as well paulington? Might help a bit though convincing them your old man is the main rider on an RS50 might be a challenge Especially if he owns a larger bike. ____________________ Current Bikes: Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 (2020)

From then on, I and the bicycle feelings deeper. |

Getting a 600 when I am 17. I thought that was obvious that I was getting a bigger bike, being that it took £2.6k off the insurance.
Anyway, to Noxious:
Original quote was £3562 or something, TPFT, GSXR 600 K7.
Dad as named, £950 or w/e it was, also TPFT.
The bike I can afford, but £3600 for insurance was a little bit silly.
Done online.
Also, I don't mind taking that kind of insurance when this recession is over, but at the moment that insurance extracts a little bit too much urine. ____________________ "Four wheels move the body, two wheels move the soul."
