Corsica (pics)

Hi,

Got back from Corsica last night, had an awesome time, my first proper bike trip and it went really well, no break downs, no accidents and decent weather (up until we got home, when we got off the ferry in nice it pissed down).

The bike held up, in fact I have a new respect for it cos it took some punishment and even embarrassed a few guys on bigger bikes through some really twisty parts.

We camped for 4 nights, toured most of the island and stopped off at some nice beaches. We took tent, sleeping bags, few clothes, torch and some hash. Couldn't of asked for anything else. Probably my best trip ever Smile

Here's some of the nicer pics (think its the first time any of you have seen my ugly mug in all the time I've been posting here. Unlucky.).

For anyone considering it, I strongly recommend it. I've never seen such an amazing landscape and the roads are incredible.

Seeing those pics has inspired my view upon my own GS, and has tempted me to possibly do something similar... although im not too sure lol

ok r4ngers joke may have been less than stylish but although it might make someone cringe a bit, i dont think it was that offensive.

And its possible he was talking about the bike he used to have a GS too.

Maybe the humour was a bit unfashionable and was of the ooh er missus carry on style but I think we can all remember when females were a novelty.

In some ways I like it that someone stood up to a joke that pissed them off but possibly a bit OTT.

Corsica looks great.

TBH I would have preferred less pics of the bike and girl and more of the countryside. Maybe I should be a rambler not a biker !

Wow, that place is beautiful. Glad you had a good time. I did my first trip on the bike a few weeks ago, and its got to be the finest way to travel!

still, no matter how many cords/nets i wrapped around the stuff it still managed to move all over the place when riding. Next time I'm buying some decent panniers.
