I'm hoping someone can help. I have a Cyclone V2 installed in the bike. Just the indicators and power is connected.

Every now and then while I am riding along it will do a double chirp, kind of a "woowoo" and flash the indicators between 6 and 8 times. It's happened a few times in the same place and then when I parked up outside a house tonight it seemed to be going tits up every 30 seconds.

Any ideas?

What bike is it out of interest. The 'woowoo' sound you mention sounds like the arming/disarming/alert sound. And the 6-8 flashes again is alert either via the alert button/bike disturbed initially prior to second disturb triggering the alarm.

First thing - presuming you have the instructions [fail to remember how to do it myself], reduce the sensitivity as on my first bike i installed one of these alarms on i had a shop owner come out and say to me it had been going off like an air raid siren for the past 2 weeks everytime a bus went by, so the stock sensitivity seems to be way too over sensitive.

Secondly, obviously it shouldn't be going off mid-riding whatever the case, but there is an 'alert' mode for overtaking trigged by the remote as far as i recall, but i know some of the V2's have been customised by owners to trigger for example if signaling right and accelerating [i.e to overtake]. How this is done i don't have the faintest idea personally, but it may be whats causing your issue Neutral

Good luck

This happened to me once, turned out my gut was pressing the remote against my earplugs holder in my pocket.

I had the fob on my bike key at the ignition. I thought at first perhaps it was wet from when it rained or something. Changed fobs and put it in my pocket and the same thing kept happening.

Its frustrating because I finish work at after 2am and I'm riding up a road full of people getting out of bars and police. Only a matter of time before I am explaining to the police that its my bike.

I'd check the wiring, make sure you earth both of the "GND" wires to the frame, not the battery and the + to the battery itself, might be worth cleaning then up just in case.

The destructions said the battery (-) or to the frame. I have just changed it to the frame. Lets see if this sorts the rubbish out.
