I have just picked up a set of tyres from

https://www.tyresonline.net/index.asp

£148 for a pair of Bridgestone Battlax 014s - pretty good I think.

Can anyone suggest a good place to get them fitted in/near Birmingham?

Just got a pair of Bridgestones BT020 from cheapbiketyres on eBay for £169.

Cheapest other on-line place was asking £30 more, dealer was £220+, so I think I got a good deal Very Happy.

Contact 'phone number is 01792 795144 - somewhere in Wales - arrived next day so excellent service Thumbs Up

Thanks guys, they do them, but not in the size/pair that I needed, so given that I can't complain about the price I paid Very Happy

<edit>FWIW it seems www.fwr.co.uk currently have a deal for a pair of 020s for £169 + £5 postage. So I'll keep that in mind when it comes around to change again</edit>

Be carefull - some tyre fitters charge a bit extra when fitting/balancing tyres that they haven't ordered through themselves. I made the mistake of finding a deal on the net for a pair of tyres and ended up spending more overall on having them fitted and balanced thereafter.

As craig said. Often cheaper if you take the wheels in yourself on thier own as well.

Don't get stuck up on the net, cheaper prices can often be found in the ads in MCN.
