Weird dreams

I've been having some really weird drems thte last few weeks pretty much every night. And they have all been in the same place.

If anyone can explain them to me then I would be very grateful.

Here's how it goes.

I go to slep every night, and the moment I do, I fall into a sort of silent hill sort of world.

I am standing at a pair of gates which I can only describe as the ones from my local church, behind me is my 2 best mates JB and Wellz. We go through the gates. The whole world is overcast and dark, with a eerie sense to it. After looking at the gates we walk through them and go down a long path that curves off to the left, on the left of me is a dry stone wall all covered on moss and above it is a grave yard with a big church. To my right is another grave yard spreading as far as the eye can see, all old gravestones then they start to get newer as they go back. After a 15minute walk I am confronted a building that just comes in to view as the curve ends it is a new building like what I have worked on in Barnsley, Chase farm hospital, it sort of looms out the darkness.

As we walk up, we are followed by a funeral procession, which over takes us, and walks straight through the wall nearest us.

After that we are all in a classroom, telling mentally impaired kids about our jobs and how they will effect them, and make thier lives better by the work we are doing in their school, as a teach looks on disapointedly. The classroom is covered in the usual happy pictures you would expect in a primary school, and the kids look happy, and after we each speak about first how I am the person who will build the new parts, Wellz will test them, and JB will maintain them.

Then all of a sudden we are led away to a room, then one by one the kids we have just been teaching are brought in and tortured to death infront of us, they all scream for us to help them but we just stand there looking at each other frozen in terror. After about 10 kids, (All of which I can see vividly in my mind) are tortured JB hits a guard and steals his gun and we manage to escape, Wells is the first to die, trying to save a group of kids. Me and JB run through the coridoors chased by what look like robots. When we run into a classroom, then all of a sudden the classroom turns from a dark misty grey into a really bright sunny day, with all normal kids. We hide in the room for what feels like hours then venture out. Standing outside the door is a guard that we manage to over power and kill, before going back into the room.

After another wait we decide to try and escape. This is where my memory comes in, the place we are in is the exact same floor plan as Nocton RAF hospital I have been to multiple times.

We run for cover a group of guards are shooting at us. Then as we run round a corner there is a gaurd standing right infront of us. we try to tak him down, but he pins me and JB down.

We both wake up in a padded room and when we the door opens we over power the guard again and make another run for it. we almost make it out of the building, but take a wrong turn and end up on a cable car. we take it back around and come out to see aload of guards, we shoot tham al then grab their guns. I hide behind a corner and check the mag.

*This is what really confused me.

The bullets were about 15mm long and stacked on in front of the other in 2 rows. As I tried to look at them, they fell out. So I dropped the gun and ran with what I had, with JB behind me. We entered another room, that was filled with mutant kids, with tentacles and 4eye's was really weird. They all started to come towards us, so we ran out of there shooting more guards and out of the front door.

It was at that point JB got picked up by another funeral procession thrown in a coffin and the lid screwed on and they walked off. I tried to explain he wasn't dead but they just said he was responsible for the death of thier children so deserved to die himself for what he had done.

I rushed through the crowd, towards the gates at the front where we had first entered, and the moment I stepped through the gates I found myself awake and in the middle of my bedroom.

I've been having the same dream every night for a while now, each time, I learn more about the place i'm in and the ways out, but each time, I try to get out people die. And I'm the only one left.

What the bloody hell does it mean?

I swear I know the place so well I could draw a map of the floor plan and where each bit is, and even the walkway down there in real detail, since I have seen it so much.

I realy is scary since I know when I go to sleep i'll wake up in that world and see it all again.

Dream's have had a following since time Begin. If you have read any thing about why we dream and how dream's work, you would not fall in to the old world belief that dream's have meaning's. To have any thought that dream's is predicting thing's, that are about to happen. In to day's modem world is a bizarre way of thinking

Dream's don't have meaning. So trying to understand what they mean is the wrong way of looking at what is happening to you. So your question is. Why do we have the same dream. The best guess we have at the moment. It is away of sorting out all the information you have gained throughout the day. Look at it as if your brain is sorting out information you have collected through the day. But the strang thing is, as you are making the sort. Other thing's come out. Now this is where dream's are made. You brain is try's to make sence of the hog pooch of total mess that the brain is comeing across when it is sorting. The strange thing is. Your brain try and make some running order of this informision. So that's how a dream are made. Also it show's you how your totally unconnected part of the dream are not making any logic order. For instance you open a door to a house and then find you are falling out of a plane, Only to land in a bowl of custard to then be picked up by a submarine. It make's no sence. But it's the best your brain can come up with.

The same dream comeing up over and over again. Happen's because a dream become's part of your memory. But it is not hard planted memory. that's why you find it hard to remember much about a dream, unless that dream is repeated. The best guess about how that happen's is. That your mind has found a way it know's round the sort office. Slotting bit's away. But every now and again it come's across a different bit of information. This is where the dream make's a slight change. But your mind try's to bring it back on track.

I'll stop now. because if I go on any longer. It start's to get boring. But that's about it in a nut shell.

I've had the same one tonight.

The front doors we walk through are the doors from my primary school and then the main corridor of the tech block from my secondary school.

It's got to the point now, with this dream it has messed up my head so much, i'm falling asleep sat up in my bed on my laptop and walking into it, but my mind knows i'm their and I can step out of it whenever I want.

Really weird the last time I was having dreams like this was when I was giving up drinking, and kept feeling like my body was inflating then I'd see myself laid in bed whilst I was stuck to the roof. Then i'd wake up at exactly the same time each morning, and it would be over.

I hate dreams like this.

I could have a big rant about dreams but I will shorten it to a few simple lines

TIbetan book of the dead - Watch a docu on them, how they practice lucid dreaming as a training ground for death, that being aware of your dream state you can control it


I've had vivid dreams before (all turns into fucking)
And done the 'dream test' where somethign weird is happening and i'm like wait wait, this cant be real, then try and put my hand through a wall, if my 'faith' is strong my hand will go straight through the dream wall, but if not i'll think its real then wake up

Dreams are interesting.

I didn't have the time or patience to word any of that well though

You're right, it's a hypothesis, but it's from that documentary, and there's not been any further studies into it

Yes there have, DMT is not produced by the pineal gland, because the mRNA sequence for indolethylamine N-methyltransferase (INMT) simply isn't present in the pineal gland. INMT is an enzyme that is needed to synthesize DMT. Without any gene coding for the enzyme, the enzyme isn't present. I'll be fucked if I can find the journal paper for it now though. It is present in the lungs though.
