Would it be possible to restrict the forum's that guest's can post in to say just general chat and maybe exchange and mart?

Or maybe remove their ability to post altogether, as all it seems to be used for now is spam and crap flame threads Confused

Not allowing guests to post would be crap...it may work for more specific/specialised forums, but I doubt that it work too well here.

I agree that something should be done with the spamming/flaming, but the best way seems to be by delegating more administrators (<wink wink> Wink) to keep a watchfull eye on activity.

How about limiting the number of posts you can make from a guest account? You could do this using peoples ip address...we also need more admins.

More admins would be nice for when we get a sudden influx of spammers etc.

TBH all that really needs to be done generally is moving stuff to flights and flame wars.

I tend to be on most evenings Neutral

I will be appointing some mods soon, but first I need to write a very specific set of rules for the board.
